2019 Best Rodeos to Attend
Are you tired of seeing the mechanical bull at the local bar? There’s nothing like seeing a live rodeo in person! Here are some great rodeos you can wear your Soto Boots too!
National Western Stock Show
The National Western Stock Show is usually held in January and is a month-long extravaganza! There are nearly 30 rodeos throughout the month including approximately 20 pro rodeos, two PBR tour events, heritage rodeos, and more! Also, it’s one of the largest livestock, horse show, and trade shows around. The rodeo is held in Denver making it an easy to travel destination.
Cheyenne Frontier Days
Cheyenne Frontier Days feature nine days of rodeo action and are very family friendly. This rodeo is held every July in Wyoming. In addition to rodeo activities, it’s also a huge festival that celebrates western roots. Musical acts performing in 2019 include Post Malone, Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert, and Rascal Flats.
Prescott Frontier Days
Known as the world’s oldest rodeo, Prescott Frontier days has been around for over 132 years! This rodeo is held in Arizona every year around the 4th of July weekend. Unlike other events, Prescott Frontier Days put their rodeo at the forefront. There are eight rodeo performances that you can attend!
Wrangler National Finals Rodeo
If you’re looking for some serious action than look no further than the National Finals Rodeo held in December in Las Vegas. This rodeo showcases the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) top 15 money winners in each event as they compete for that year’s title. It’s the final rodeo of the PRCA season.
